A Little About Me
Hi, I am Mima Sorocean.
I am the founder of Makeitstudio. My background is deeply rooted in the international art, craft and design. Holding a Visual Arts degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC Canada) and currently completing the Master's in Art Curating at Aarhus University, I approach workplace experiences through a strict curatorial and sensory lens. I launched Makeitstudio to give dedicated space to local artisans while opening doors for people to discover and learn new, tactile skills.
I believe that true human connection and mental decompression do not happen over standard drinks or forced team icebreakers. They happen naturally when our hands are actively engaged with raw, tactile materials. My mission is to bridge the gap between Oslo's corporate world and private gatherings and its incredible community of local makers. I want to build a sustainable ecosystem that introduces your specialized skill set to new audiences, while fully respecting your creative autonomy and financial worth.
